BlueAnt’s X4 Party Speaker Bringing the Party Back to Australia

The lightweight, versatile party speaker sports incredible sound at every volume, and partygoers can connect up to 100 X4s together at any one time

Melbourne – October 11, 2021 – Australia’s audio pioneer, BlueAnt, is launching the latest and perhaps greatest addition in its X series of portable speakers: the X4. The next gen party speaker from BlueAnt is pound-for-pound the best speaker the company has delivered to Australians.
The X4 is a lightweight, portable and splashproof speaker with a versatility which makes it the speaker of choice for any party setting: at a picnic or barbeque, by a pool, at a party indoors in multiple rooms, or on stage. Each speaker delivers clear audio from low settings with perfectly audible vocals, to full volume which promises to shake the walls and set the tone for party time.
BlueAnt CEO Taisen Maddern said the X4 is pound-for-pound the best value speaker on the market, and certainly the best sub-$300 Bluetooth wireless speaker currently available anywhere.
“The X4’s peers can’t rival its clarity, bass and range of audio, regardless of volume,” he said. “It’s the most versatile speaker that’s available today. It can easily be a party speaker, the speaker that sits in the middle of a picnic, it can be a karaoke machine, as a boombox for an outdoor gym, or be comfortable at home or in the garden.
“We looked at what made our X5 speaker such a huge hit with Australians and we added to it in a more portable form factor that can help revellers announce loudly that parties are back in Australia.”
Lightweight and Ready to Make a Statement: the X4
Like the X5, the X4 sports an intelligent LED lighting system, engaging microphone capability and a lightweight form factor that belies the sound it can produce. It also packs BlueAnt’s patented Psycho-acoustic bass extension and lights that groove in time to the music, featuring five different light modes as well as a lights-off option.
But BlueAnt added several key features that set the X4 apart from its rivals and from anything it has ever produced.
Up to 100 X4s can be paired together at any time with a relative pairing distance of up to 100 metres between each speaker (direct line of sight), with the “Queen Bee” speaker (the first speaker connected via Bluetooth to the music device) controlling the music, volume, and bass boost. This ensures partygoers can experience exceptional sound no matter which speaker they’re closest to at the party, with absolutely no lag or loss of audio quality from speaker to speaker. The connections stay strong regardless of interference, such as walls, allowing the bass to pump consistently throughout the party regardless of the party’s location or the speakers themselves.
It also sports light-up controls, ensuring easy navigation in darker indoor, outdoor, or night party settings. In a form factor about half the size of the X5 – measuring at a cube-like 24x23x26cm – and weighing just 2.6kgs, the X4 is an easy-to-carry-anywhere device that can fit comfortably in a boot, in the corner of a home, on a shelf or anywhere it needs to be, making the party ready to go where the X4 takes it.
The X4 is IP54 splashproof, enabling it to be set up outdoors with confidence and comes in a range of colours – Black, White, Teal, Pink and Purple – to brighten any room, allowing partygoers to make a statement with their X4 of choice.
The X4 also comes with a bonus microphone and the speaker itself sports distinct microphone volume and echo effect controls, rounding it into the most versatile speaker on the market.
“The X5 is the best piece of audio equipment we’ve ever created, and the X4 is right up there with it at a lower cost and in a more portable form factor,” said Maddern. “This will be our most popular speaker and it launches in time for Australians to release a ton of pent-up party energy.”
The X4 is available for pre-order at the BlueAnt website now (https://blueant.com.au/products/x4), and from select Telstra Stores on October 12.

Launch of the X4 the first of several flagship devices from BlueAnt this summer
Keen BlueAnt fans have been waiting patiently for the release of the X4 after watching the company release its X0, X1, X2, X3 and X5 in the past year. But while the X4 fills the sequential series, that’s not all that remains for BlueAnt as it gears up for its most impressive product release season in its history.
“We will shortly release Active Noise Cancelling True Wireless Ear buds that will finally bring both brilliant bass and bang-for-the-buck to TWS ANC and also another imminent launch that will bring the best value True Wireless earbuds to market,” said Maddern. “We’ve seen what the market wants from its devices and we’re bringing that BlueAnt expertise and affordability to shake things up for customers.
“We want to make devices that are both premium and available to the everyday Australian. We’ve done that with every single device we’ve released to date, and customers are going to love what is next in store from us.”
