Melbourne – October 28, 2024 – As the calendar turns slowly towards summer each year, it’s assured that Australia’s audio pioneer, BlueAnt, releases another ground-breaking and eardrum-thumping piece of bass-pumping brilliance. And as if on cue, the sound engineering experts have unveiled the party speaker to relieve all others of their duties: the X5i.
The next generation of BlueAnt’s best-selling X5 portable party speaker, the X5i ramps everything up a notch; it’s packing double the power of the original and is capable of 120W peak power, while sporting two 58mm tweeters and BlueAnt’s signature psycho-acoustic bass. The X5i has epic bass at all volume levels and battery life among the best in the business with up to 30 hours playtime.
The X5i features LED lights around the trim as well as the core, with seven beat-driven light modes available to set the mood to match the music. The X5i also comes with two wireless microphones (which charge directly from the speaker itself) with exceptional range, even around corners, and 50+ hours play time – ensuring the speaker is primed for any occasion.
All told, it’s the most complete party speaker at its size, price and form factor available today, according to BlueAnt CEO Taisen Maddern.

The X5i features two 58mm tweeters. a 165mm Bass driver and a Bass Reflex Tube, ensuring BlueAnt’s signature audio expertise shines through any music and delivering epic bass even at low volumes – with a bass boost button for those who want more oomph.

The built-in 20800mAh is double the size of that in the X5, but the X5i weights only slightly more at 4.8kg, keeping the portability tag intact while ramping up the battery life to support up to 30 hours playtime at 50 per cent volume and seven hours at full volume, with continuous play possible through AC power. It supports multiple playback options (Bluetooth 5.4, AUX, USB) to keep every possible option in the loop for users, and also duo mode, allowing users to pair two X5i speakers together to broaden the soundstage.
